When you redo an entire room, you have to relocate the stuff that is kept in the room you're re-doing. And if you need supplies for that remodel, well they have to go somewhere too. For us, this relocation spot has been our guest bedroom. It's right across the hall from the remodel zone, so the most convenient location for supplies and things that we had to move out of the bathroom. And we haven't had company in quite a while, so we haven't had to clean things up or make space for visitors. In short, it has gotten a bit out of control.
Here is the wreck/tornado/secret shame remodeling status of our guest room right now....
Yes, that is a toilet in our guestroom. Since we're retiling the floor, we had to temporarily remove the toilet. Here's a picture showing the missing toilet:
Here's Matt being a great sport and sitting on the toilet in the guest room when I asked him to :)
Hahaha what a great guy. We may have company coming in 2 weeks, so this room needs to be cleaned up stat. Well, and Matt is almost done with the bathroom anyway....so, yay!
